lewdcorner being over run by spam / hacked accounts

stop using your phone / mobile device (as you see, dummies make it a huge security risk)

get rid of chrome, chrome does not allow the full function of uBlock Origin– Privacy Ad Blocker - browser extension
so, get rid of chrome browser right now (chrome is not a user friendly browser, its a money making machine)

get Ghostery – Privacy Ad Blocker - browser extension
get uBlock Origin– Privacy Ad Blocker - browser extension

i have malware bytes installed as an anti virus but its only active when i turn it on (dummies need constant live protection)
yes, my anti virus is turned off (because I'm not a dummy that downloads a game that's 4.7GB with a filename of my-stepsister.zip)
but in reality downloads (the file setup.zip with the file inside called setup.exe that's 231 KB & than double clicks it 8 times trying to get the game to start)

GB, MB & KB <--- are different
there are 1000 KB in a MB
there are 1000 MB in a GB

games have multiple files in the folder (not one file that's really small named setup.exe)
most games you run, no setting them up "they are pre setup" scan everything you are unsure of "big dummy"

this is a game folder, in total its 237 MB (megabytes)

this is a fake virus / trojan so you "kinda know" what it will look like in total its 104 KB (kilobytes)

I use AdGuard and AdGuard Extra, and I usually clear all my browser cookies every day, sometimes I do it every few days. However, it would be nice if, when a game is uploaded, the uploaders would post a VirusTotal scan and use only reliable hosting services. I don't trust MixDrop or MediaFire at all. I'm going to run a deep scan on my PC right now, just in case.
my cookies get cleared when i shutdown my browser, which could be once a week

if you don't walk into an attack you have no worries of getting malware

There’s no way to say this without sounding like a jerk, but we won’t do anything about it because we can’t. You can’t expect us to go around scanning every user’s computer and phone for malware. If your passwords or cookies are stolen, or if someone gains remote access to your device, it’s because YOU, as the user, weren’t careful.

The most you can expect from us is exactly this: to tell you to be careful and provide security recommendations. If people don’t listen, it’s not our fault.

I remember that even Buzzheavier pointed this out with a message along the lines of “Don't be stupid, games are several MB in size, not just a few KB.”

yes, you scanning members computers is going way too far, that's the users / members job.

mods, staff, admins have enough to do around here without having to spoon feed every noob that doesn't know how to use the internet

facebook is way more dangerous than lewdcorner, that's for sure
