Yup, always support that if it's an option in the game. If it's not an option, fine, but if the MC is in a situation where they're asked for approval, not giving that approval feels way too callous and controlling. The only harem is the harem in which all parties are fully consenting to the situation, which means letting people be themselves (or simply deciding they're not right for the MC, if what they want is too different from what's on offer).
