I wasn't defending what's going on, I was just pointing out one upside to having more money than is necessary, given the situation. I haven't spent a dime, nor will I. And, if this site goes down because of some shady stuff, oh well. There will always be another site.

The issue is not the host but the people... i already said that the host is working with kav about "hunting" down the false reporters as it takes time to look through reports meanwhile real reports go unseen for a longer while
That's never going to work fundamentally, it's a technical issue. That revolves mostly down to what 3rd party services the website uses and under what jurisdiction does the host provider presides in.
Thats why the coin system was introduced to discourage them from spending the time and energy or money on just reporting this stuff
This will not dissuade them... you misunderstand the motivations of these individuals. The host is forced to take this action legally. They will not stop.
How would you know. plus i am pretty sure that almost none of them will spend days of "working" to just report on single site so they will most likely move on to the next site to report as if they post/like to much to fast they will either get blocked from liking stuff and having a ton of coins removed or banned in some cases
I'm old - there's been a few of these forums around. Only technological solutions mitigate these issues.
so kav said where it was located and i just checked and it is legal there so senario 2 is out of the question and i highly doubt that its for profit reasons as only once in a while we know someone donated for the coins (as they always ask when they get their coins which have to be manually added) so it wouldnt make sense for that reason
Websites have to comply with the laws of the country that it can be accessed from (it's why region blockers are a thing).

Indeed, but if people use a VPN, then that's on them (the individual) as the site has complied by restricting content from being access in that region.

I don't understand what you're whining about. I was lurking for a few months, then when I decided to become active again, I noticed there were some LCs piling up. By the time I understood what they were for, I had unlocked the "basic feature" without even knowing it and most importantly - without even trying. I just posted normal comments as always and I got them.
