Not much experience here, but having tried it for a few days thanks to a friend of mine, I'd highly advice you to give it a try if you could before buying. It definitely changed my mind, and I ended up not buying it.
The novelty is nice, it changes a bit the gameplay, but moving around is a guaranteed recipe for nausea, games are very much meh, comfort is poor... It's a lot of money for something that is still a bit too early in the process.
I tried VR porn games and videos, if briefly. Nice but videos are 20gb each, and games lifeless. Also, it's not like you can touch the girl for real, you're just reaching for empty air.

HOWEVER, if you make the jump, I really recommend you to go for second hand market.

The novelty makes it interesting the first few times, but most content isn't high enough quality to make it worth the hard drive space. Even if they are in HD or 4k that's often not enough for true VR.
