Stumbled across the site and looked like a decent community.

Been a long time enjoyer of Adult VN games, even tried writing for one once but that didn't go anywhere

It didn't get as far as 0.1 it was a project of a lot of peoples first attempt at making a game and it was pretty directionless as to what we should do, or in my case what we should be writing.
The setting was fairly bleak so I didn't enjoy the writing for it once the initial excitement of starting a new thing wore off, and eventually everyone involved just left.

Welcome If u dont mind me asking - was this with friends or some community on discord or how did u get involved in this? im asking because i often wonder about making games and im curious to where people meet to join up for stuff like this.

You're on the very site to do this. Post your own thread and tell people what you do, skills, or general ideas and watch the incoming brainstorm that will sweep your thread.

This was pretty much how I felt. I went browsing a forum section where people could say they were looking or had skills to offer pretty much exactly like Encassion said above but for a different site, found a post where someone was looking for writers, coders and artists, replied to say I was interested then it moved to discord.

I've done some writing on an erotica site, so was slightly helped when I could just point them at some stuff I've written, so having some stuff you can offer as an example is always helpful.

But yeah everyone's got to start somewhere so the best thing you can do is find a place and start writing and just go for it as the more you do the better you'll get. Stick to things you enjoy writing and try not to worry about reactions or lack thereof, since having fun with what you're writing is the most important bit
