Other than the normal pop ups at the bottom of the screen, I have never had another window or tab open up. What are you guys on? Could be a browser or OS thing? I'm on mac and chrome

Ads are annoying but necessary for income, with a secure browser and an antivirus program they are not a big problem.

Did kav not say, that ads are only for normal member?
(I don´t have any, cause of noScript and implemented ad blocker in my VPN, So I could not tell.)

i'm glad we all agree ad supported models are bad for the internet. but it is not the individuals fault for having to rely on it, it is simply how the larger economic system functions, don't like ads then change the overlying system
 
I get the occasional ad that peeks up from the bottom of my screen but I have never got a new tab open up
