I don't disagree with your point but I do think the issue with most games that go for realism over style is poor lighting apposed to the realism itself
Oh i agree on the lightning part, especially so in 3dcg, without good lighting everything looks cheap and low effort, and thats a deal breaker for me

Semi Realistic always seems nice to me, prob not old looking graphic, really depends

First off, I'm taking the question as "What do YOU like with your coffee?"

I like DAZ more than real porn. Note = I'm old, so anything "like" DAZ is fine too, whatever it's called.
Next up is 2D? I'm never sure cuz 2D in tags in most sites vary WILDLY. I'm taking about game like Our Red String, or ones like that.

In the nope category, VAM is best, I guess. I try it. I usually can't finish a game. Then I delete it.
Next are are Honey Select, Sims, basically everything but the one below.
Bottom tier: Real Porn. If I want to see that, there's plenty that I don't need a game for. Download / Screencap a picture. Edit with Paint. Add the words I want. DONE.

I'm not saying people should agree to the above. Nor should they agree to my coffee preference. But the above... that's me.

While I wouldn't put it as a dealbreaker, especially if everything else is good, it certainly makes things much harder to enjoy. It is sad though with how many creators don't seem to realise just how vital lighting is

YES! One of the main things that will differ in me wanting to play the game or not is the art style

There's that very stereotypical and generic AI style that you can always recognise from games trying to make a quick buck rather than have any merit to them, tonnes of them abandoned after 0.2 or 0.3. I don't have anything against AI art in general but that instantly recognisable "abandoned in a month" preview image is an instant scroll past for me.

Yeh art style is important but i'm mostly fine with any kind I prefer mostly 2D games but won't turn down hot 3d styles

Art should be good looking at the very least. Good 2d better than good 3d, but there very easier to find good 3d. But in some cases story so good or just good enough that you do not see arts inadequacies.

Is it just me? i believe a good/unique art style is an important requirement when i look for H-games to play, although it is quite subjective what could considered good, i dont find the more simple or "moe" art styles to be appealing. They are understandable, however, given their ease of drawing
while I don't always go for a "unique" style (I'm perfectly happy with daz or HS2 if theres a bare minimum of effort put in), there are absolutely styles that will turn me away from games. I really cannot stand KK, and most eastern 2dcg games bug me for some reason. Ultimately, as long as it looks like the dev put some care into it, I'll at least be open to trying it, though if the quality doesn't hold up after a little while of playing, I might drop something. I refuse to touch anything at all thats AI CG though.

I have to go with the more realistic 3D the better, I do make exceptions but not often

yes, it's the first thing I notice and the first thing that catches attention

Not particularly. There are some "hand-drawn" arts that I've been impressed with, but more often than not art style isn't really that important to me. So long as the hand-drawn art doesn't look like it was drawn with your non-dominant foot, I'm happy.

But in general, so long as the morphs of Daz models aren't atrocious (you know what I'm talking about *coughStreetRatscough*), or Koikatsu/Honey Select aren't overly exaggerated (I'm so tired of the obsession with triple-letter breast or ass sizes. Where are my grapefruit queens?!), I'm happy.

Im not going to play a game if im not attracted to the girls, so yes.

First thing I look at. Is it unique? If it is based on sth else, how well does it replicate the basis's style? Is it well-made. How about generic? And I cannot stand most anime styles.

The only art style I don't like is 3D anime. It isn't even just Koikatsu but anything that's the 3D anime kinda style. It just always looks really off and cheap in games and is sometimes a turn off. It's especially true if they have Hyper proportions because it doesn't look Sexy, it just looks goofy.

yes most deff i looj for games that have the ia1 art style since i dont like ia2 very much.

yes and that's the first impression. If you cant convince me of your art then it's just, I'm not interested.

Good art style is always welcome in a game, but is not always necessary.

as long as the art style is good enough to have hot models im a happy guy
