discussion Intro + Question

Hello! Just got my account approved today. Cannot believe it took me this long to find this site, I pretty much belong here.

While I navigate around and find myself, I have a question. I was looking through games and they show up in a kind of grid format with previews and some basic info. Some of the grid spots are blank as I click through the pages. Is this because those games are restricted to Member+? Is that how Member+ works, is that those just show up? Or is there a separate designated area of the forum for Member+ games?

I feel like I could write some great stories, but I have absolutely no experience with animation, graphics, or python so I've kind of avoided it. Maybe I'll look into it at some point.

Now to start figuring out this coins thing. Thanks for reading...

The Members+ are within their own totally seperate section, they're not blanked out from the grid. I imagine that might be a page error? Might need a refresh or a browser change, not sure. But no, they're not "hidden" to your eyes right now.

Thank you! I did actually read through the Coin Hustlers Uni, and it was a great resource. Well done btw. It didn't really specify though why those spots were blanked out, so I figured I would ask. Thanks for the clarification on the Members+. I've got some ways to go before I get there.

Speaking of the Anti Social Lurker Hideout... I've been scanning that channel trying to figure out which conversation to try and jump into. There's a strange concoction of what appears to be mermaids, video games, and politics going on in there. I'll find something. Thanks =)

Well, from the way you've written this introductory post. I think you'll be absolutely fine! You write we personality and effort, that's lovely to see.
The Lurker thread is daunting, a lot gets said very quickly, and several people are having several conversations, whilst several others are playing out their inside jokes. As a newcomer, stepping into all that can be a source of apprehension. But, honestly? Everyone is super lovely as long as - and this is the main rule - you make an effort. Jump in on anyones random conversation, or introduce yourself just as you did in this thread, and all will be okay.

I'll be honest, it's been some years since I was active in any forum community. The last one was a game forum that turned somewhat toxic, as those are wont to do.

I'll grab on to that moving train shortly.

It took me a while to swim those waters. I got my Member+ mostly in other sections of the site, but I'm now there. Just pick an starting point and you will be fine.
