I personally think having a daily login in system would make things a lot easier. Also maybe an achievement or loyalty system like logging in for x amount of days consecutively or interacting with x amount of threads gives bonuses

I have a hard time coming up with meaningful things to say, and that's on ANY message board. So making posts and getting likes is tough for me. Any ideas would be welcome, ya know?

There was a log in bonus, but it was abused by VPN users.

There was a daily login but of course people found a way to abuse that just like everything else.

Were forced to post in just one thread to get easy coins and good luck if you don't lose what you earned due to changes.

As your perks can be modified or removed at the site owners will.

At least it's 2% now as it used to be only 1%, and before that the bank didn't even work.

Also yeah having to manually collect interest makes no sense, and if you miss a day it doesn't add up.

the bank has always worked EXCEPT when we put it on "auto" hence why it went back to manual.

Mine is gradually getting later and later, by minutes, hours, now I have to wait another half a day to get my coins lol

No it didn't you could put money in it for a few weeks when it was added to the site but it never gave interest. That came later.

I know what I'm talking about as I've been here almost everyday since the absurd changes started.

Make giving like easier. With the 2 minutes time limited we basically discourage people from giving it out like they used to. Sense they did that I basically only got a hand full of like on all of my comments sense then.

I think in a way, that became a daily log-in surrogate, after a fashion. Though I'm with you - I would rather it were automatic. My bank interest collection date always creeps up over the course of a week ;-p

The only thing I would really change is to reduce the cooldown before giving Likes and reactions. I know that it was previously abused, but even a 30 or 45 second cooldown should still prevent spamming but give people the opportunity to react a little more quickly. Sometimes there are two or three comments on one page that merit a reaction and it's challenging to break your reading flow in order to wait to like a comment. And if used properly and not abused, it would help us all gain more coins.

It's an unfortunate situation, but a necessary evil in order for us to be able to have what we want

I think another thing we can do is have a list of achievements/Milestone that can give you bonus LC coins. Like when you received a hundred likes you get a bonus point sense you achieved this milestone then the next would be 500 and then a 1000.

I like your thinking! And since it's based on likes and not just posts, it encourages quality over quantity.
