discussion If you could change LC in any way what would you add, change, or remove?

1. Solid, more thought out planning and updates. Less updates and cash spent due to planning ideas out. : this is now being handled by the new dev.

2. Better design and design choices. : can you elaborate on this? do you mean like themes, ranks or what?

3. Notification timer for scheduling updates. : noted.

4. Game Tag Filter to show all Tags when clicked. Hard to remember certain tags when we have to recall the first 2 letters. Harder yet when unsure of a Tag we may not be thinking of adding without seeing list. : could be possible, ill ask luis what he thinks.

5. Stop creeping DMs. : already stated bot controls all messages, and sends logs to my computer for further moderation.

6. Change Bank to a set collection time of our choosing instead of resetting when making Deposits. Or at least not resetting when Deposits are made. : this was a good idea, but at the time we were limited on what could be edited in the addon because of an error, but this error was fixed so ill ask luis if he can come up with an idea on this, (please note, not top priority.)

7. No more Coin types. Starting to look like MMO currency. : agreed, i plan on purging platinum coin as soon as i come up with a converter for them.

8. Monthly random AC prize giveaway. Not sure if feasible. : already feasible, its already a thing i just need to rework on it a bit more.

You don't even remember liking my OG post here but you replied now for what? To make it look like something has and is being done?
I appreciate the reply months later but this goes to 1. that even when shown to leadership it was mostly ignored with a Forced? Thread on the very same issue I believe by yourself? Only for it to be deleted? And many mini topics on it and countless Threads later especially recent that were also deleted. I don't know what to say anymore to seek positive change as it's always in the works but hardly ever see it and rarely without issue or later busting (Tags and whatever else). I mean the lack of a dedicated log page for changes implemented busted in need of fix and future changes is 1. as well. This Thread has been visited by multi Mods but is anything being relayed no idea. This is another reason why fixes and changes don't seem to be taken seriously.

2. Everything has been explained and reexplained in subsequent posts. : Shows this Thread (possibly the only Thread of it's kind still left) is viewed as nothing more than a joke.

3. Also those LC maintenance updates that last around 4 to 20 minutes

4. I vaguely recall a Luis from different posts months+ ago. Is he a Mod or the Dev you mentioned?

5. So why restate? Still creepy AF especially since they is no way you check every DM so it's likely you target specific M+ more than others. We were expressly told DMs would not be checked unless they were reason do I have that incorrect?

6. From my understanding of the code and based on Drakkon's and others posts LC code is spaghetti code at best and practically needs to be entirely rewritten or restarted from scratch which I don't see happening but would solve all the coding issues and more.

7. Converter sounds confusing but if as simply as PC to AC or DC or whatever may be rather simple

8. But didn't you make a whole thing about AC and banking needing to be nerfed? Is this not a contradiction or will it be limited to low AC M+? I once said (here to Guz?) that AC per account could be limited to only the total AC needed for total shop item value P1 4 5 Reacts and such.

I get change takes time and a bit to wrap ones head around but it's been years. Some changes are recent but with the most important on my list 1. the majority of changes especially the recent ones since around April till now wouldn't have been needed and tens of thousands could have been saved in donations (won't get into any donation stuff past that because you know my sus already).

If we had one location like my Thread for all proposed changes like the one you linked for report fixes (that never gets deleted) all would be directed to it and all propositions would be collected in one locations for clear quick info and leadership wouldn't have to go asking or searching for it and would be able to congregate and check off what is being considered and in progress and fixed.

Although I like the site layout. Im sorry to say for me, it is little underwhelming for a gaming and art site. I realise this is gaming so, here is example.

I been on some Japanese gaming sites and they really do make effort in the artistic area. ATF has its thing, with the images of its content, although for 21st that site also would suit updating. I would design the site template (whatever its called) with nice aesthetic background that draws the eyes to perhaps a game these that suits the games.

Like maybe have a welcome page with links or "click here for..." then it leads to art, or forum or games areas. Something modern and snazy.

Not sure this actually is able to be achieved with LC, but I like those fun "introduction" pages on some sites.

There is a lot that can be done if the will is there to make LC something stands out. When I joined I felt it was not easy to sift through categories because in some ways things seem to sort of blend in together, if this makes sense.

Thats just me and my hair brain ideas if I was to set up a site. Then again, people are used to LC and how it is set up, so, maybe its fine exactly as it is.

I would like to see a Media link on profiles to see all media posted by a user without having to go hunt down posts. Both ATF and RW have this.
I know this is primarily a gaming site, not a media site and you're having to deal with ATF and RW refugee prima-donnas, so low priority.

ya, i get it.
you've been here 3 years & spent 35+ days on the site, I've been here 4 months & spent 12 days on the site, i wouldn't call that being here for gambling only & I don't know them well enough to let them know "what I think of them" LOL
so many changes to the site & so many things added & removed that I cant keep up with them anymore, + you need a college degree just to use the shop page & get interest & more ideas just mean more changes that will be changed.

so an idea would to be to fix the broken stuff before moving forward. (like the broken images in the game pages)
its not like the site is a team of 15 people.

I think that's a bug, but I'm not sure the cause on that one.
