It hasn't been an issue for me, for the past two or three decades.

FIFTY years ago, I did plenty of stupid things.

When sexual discovery was new and exciting for me, most of my shorts had a small hole in the right front pocket . . . just big enough to slip a finger through. I generally had my hands in my pockets, anytime I was standing behind something. I have no idea if I ever got "caught" . . . people may have simply been too embarrassed or polite to call me out for it (the 70s were much simpler times).

Honestly not sure. I mean, I would imagine that in the scheme of things it's probably good, but people's experience will vary here.

I know when I am deeply horny, things that don't make sense to a more logical me suddenly make a lot more sense, and not always in a good way. A good example is, I've never cheated. But when I get horny and my SO isn't feeling it, I start to wonder why we aren't polyamorous.

Logical non-horny me knows I committed to a long-term monogamous relationship and that SO and I are too jelly to share. Horny me is too dumb to think that far.

I've been to therapy and doctors. They've all told me I am normal, just a slightly higher than average libido for my age.

My SO actually had me see just about every kind of doctor out there due to my libido, I've had some crazy tests done due to some family history of various things. Everything is normal. Well, I have slightly less of one hormone that I should, but within margin of error, or so I am told.

Even been to therapy for sex addiction, porn addiction, etc. Told I had none of those things too, and I am perfectly normal human who is just slightly hornier than average for my age.

I've never done anything bad or dangerous, other than sleeping around a loooooot in my early twenties. Like I said, horny me thinks polyamory wouldn't be so bad, but logical me knows otherwise. I've never strayed from that path and I have been married a fairly long time to the same person.

So I guess, the various specialists I have seen disagree with you.
