Of course, this only applies when the characters actually age normally. If the characters look like they are in their 20s-30s no matter what age they are, then the distinction doesn't even matter at that point.

Depends on the artist and their art style. I've seen some MILFs allegedly pushing 60 who look like they're in their sexual prime, and I've seen some 'MILFs' who look like they're about ready to break a hip despite being in their late twenties.
