discussion How often do you guys play as the opposite sex?

I usually don't play porn games with a FMC. The plot is often boring and get either get raped by everyone and everything or are the biggest slut ever. No actual story or effort in most of them.
In normal games I just pick whoever looks cooler, who most of the time is the FMC bc male designs when you get to choose are frequently very plain and ugly.

Almost always because there are almost no games with good female MC's and even when there are female MC's it's often that they are clearly written by men and usually lesbian. I quite enjoyed Lily though and yumi academy, there is another one which has better graphics than those, it's set in a university i can't remember it's name.

My problem with most female protagonist games is that so many of them are about getting harassed and raped. I like playing as women in games, but I need to not be railroaded into being a pushover and a victim in order for it to be fun for me. Let me be a powerful bisexual woman, killing rapists and taking their wives.

Not often. I prefer male protags but if there is a choice and it's between a pre-made male and a pre-made female protag, and I find the pre-made male protag's mannerisms offputting, then female protag. If the game only has a female protag, that's no issue and not a downside (though female protags often seem to have worse-than-usual writing, probably reflective of being written by someone who does not share their experiences, but who's to say).

I used to get annoyed when I find a game that looks interesting but has a female protag. My tasted changed as I play some female protag games if it has certain tags involved but that then that I ignore them.

i wish more game with female mc would have the female be more dominating, the corruption to sex crazed slut that a lot of games do gets old
