discussion How often do you guys play as the opposite sex?

I don't like to self-insert, so I'm fine with playing as the opposite sex. I could launch into a rant about player surrogates, (Gordon Freeman, Bethesda protagonists, etc.) but I don't think this is the right thread for that.

I play both genders fairly often. doesn't bother me to play as a woman. In these types of games you can see different content from that experience. I dunno, I think both are good.

I pretty much exclusively play as women models in the game because I find their outfits much sleeker/more interesting when it comes down to the nitty-gritty. Especially in MMOs where clothing or classes are gender locked. I think more often than not, I find the majority of players in MMO play females and it's only really a problem when it comes to catfishing in guilds/statics/etc.

I'd 100% cute boys in maid outfits if an MMO would let me, but it never tends to go that way, so Cafe Cuties cosplay it is for me on female models.

I started to always go with female avatars and characters in games a few years back. That was because I really regretted playing Assassins Creed Odyssey as Alexios instead of Kassandra.

I like to in non-porn games, I'll typical do a second RPG playthrough as a woman.

For porn games not really much, besides there not being as many options, I dislike losing control in games. Off the top of my head Good Girl Gone Bad was great.

When I was younger I only really remember a couple of games where I played as a woman but recently I've stumbled upon a lot more really good ones. I think it's interesting to shake things up now and then since the cutscenes are usually just straight sex anyway. What are some times you guys have tried it and what are some recommendations for anyone unacquainted? Open to ladies who play as guys too of course but I have a feeling that's nearly all of you just due to the amount of games produced with female protagonists at all.

Whenever i play course of temptation or degrees of lewdity, i always play as either a woman, transwoman, or a herm. I cant enjoy those games playing as a dude

I almost always play female character in non-porn games, not exclusively but probably 90% of games/playthroughs.
Think it started with Mass Effect as a horny teenager looking for the fem-shep/liara sex scene lmao.
The Black Widow perk from Fallout 3 and New Vegas probably also contributed a fair bit.

100% this as well, Dragons Dogma 2 had some good female MC outfits.

I try to avoid female protag games in porn games, but in regular games I don't mind what I play as, as it's not going to affect the gameplay or storyline

in porn games - always a dude. in normal games - both. female if there is a smaller hitbox in a shooter game cause i need the little help from that ;P
