Only if all characters (or at least 90%) are likeable ( like in Once In A Lifetime). If harem choice is only way to go, and there is a lot of annoying characters, I usually abandon the game.

It depends on the game because I go with the flow. But in practice that means I play only, or primarily, the harem ending:

• Many of the best AVNs such as A House in the Rift, Cosy Cafe, Crimson High, Ecchi Sensei, Maids and Maidens, Polyturnon, basically have only one ending, which is the harem ending. Ending up with a single love interest is either not possible or basically just means skipping a massive amount of scenes without getting anything extra.
• I believe others have non-harem endings as an afterthought, although I cannot immediately think of good examples.
• AVNs with only a monogamous ending, or where the harem ending was added as an afterthought, seem to be rarer or at least not as memorable. Probably in part because they are shorter.
• When all endings are highly original first-class plot variants, I will definitely play the non-harem endings as well. The problem is that this is rare. The only example that comes to mind immediately is Solvalley School, which is huge but makes it easy to play all the endings in the gallery. The Lucy ending is 100% monogamous. (I am not sure, but it could be the only one.) Although the massive harem ending is clearly the canonical one, there are many alternative endings in which the MC ends up marrying a single girl and then fucking and impregnating only her and her mother. For girls who are not part of the canonical harem, this is the only ending available. A special case is the mini-harem consisting of Anastacia and her sisters and mother. None of them is part of the canonical harem. There is a quasi-monogamous variant with just Anastacia and her mother which is clearly an afterthought. (Basically the sisters were cut without trace out of the mini-harem.)

In stuff like harem hotel, or eternum, or mythic manor maybe. It all depends on if other characters are cool wit it, and threesomes+ are always better than solo. I also dont like cheating

To not go the way of the harem just seems ridiculous to me. To be able to just freely move from one toy to the next is basically what real life should be about. If only that type of life was truly attainable and manageable. But yes harem all the way.

I only do in Japanese games, because sometimes you have to do all the non-harem endings before you can unlock the harem ending.
