I feel like 99% wont, but if even just 1% keep being active its gonna have a huge impact since most users are lurkers.

It depends on where the life ob the forum would be.
There's so far too little discussion happening (I think) related to game recommendations - which at least in my experience is the most useful part of such forums.
So far there are shiploads of discussions in the casual threads about everighing and nothing at once. When the critical mass of those users get what they want from the grind, would they or would they not shift their interest to another sort of talks here? I don't know ofc but somehow I do no t have a very bright expectation on that.
