just a random tread,

not to say if someone is bad or good
just a thread for those who did serve and worked they way up
so, how many of you did serve in the military
and no you will not be judged on what happend, as even i have things i will never talk about

and yes questions may be asked, just don't expect all of them to be answered as some questions can be to difficult to be answered

Bonus points: State which country's force you served for and how its called. ;)

I personally did not, but several family members have. I have high respect for anyone in the military. Thank you for serving your country.

Ditto, much respect for all those that contribute to making the world a safer place.

Me I was never interested as I don't like to be bossed around or follow orders.

My brother and cousin did though. One was in the army and another a marine.

:)

Maybe someday, back and legs are probably wrecked for life. But, hopefully it will be easier to get treatment once I'm out.
And definitely proud of the work I accomplished, but I'm ready to do something new

I'm not stupid enough to kill or get killed just because some screaming monkey orders me to do it.
Honestly, if someone bombs my town it doesnt matter if i wear a uniform, i cant do anything about it...and if some soldiers invade my home i dont need an uniform to fight for my life and my beloved ones.

Got put on service reserve due to medical conditions... Quite a lot of years back though (at the time in my country there was mandatory service, so my brother served,)
