discussion how do you feel about horror porn games?

Horror has a lot of potential in porn games but sadly I haven't seen that many of them

I think I like it. Not in all content, obviously, but if well done, the stress/vigilance aspect mixes well with the sexual excitation. Thinking of Desert Stalker, for instance. Danger is a strong aphrodisiac. Not a fan of extreme gore/snuff though.

I really like it when done correctly. Most recent one I played is "sin spire" it had so much potentially, Unfortunately the gameplay loop was tedious and boring as it went

In my opinion, they don't mix very well. I've never seen any porn games out there that had good horror and good porn mechanics. But I'm also quite critical of the horror genre in general, throwing in jumpscares or making a scene dark or bloody is not horror.

Sin Spire had such amazing atmosphere for horror. Sadly, gameplay loop was kinda clunky

Mist is a masterpiece in the genre.

Ive played quite a few, but I don't know if I would call any of them actual horror. I don't think I've found an actually scary horror porn game yet, but if you know any I would love some recommendations

Horror games are okay. Horror movies are cheesy. Horror porn is cringe. Horror porn games are pompous. No developer of a hentai game has ability to write a story that's even remotely scary, so the best they can do is have graphic violence. Graphic sexual violence can be hot when done right, but most of the time it's just shitty maledom on steroids. And maledom is the only thing in the porn making business most people care about, unfortunately.

I think it can be really cool. There was a part in Desert Stalker that was a horror scene and it was sooo freaky. I havent found any other games that have that feeling yet unfortunately!

I like when horror is used to shift the tension a bit, especially when coupled with a good story or as a way for character progression. That being said, I haven't found a game that meshes them well in a single scene.

I'm not big on the horror genre in general. Though there was one zombie apocalypse game that was actually quite good but i cant recall the name offhand.

Ravenous seems to ride the line pretty well. When I think of horror a lot of times that means gore or slasher type horror which I don't really want in games, but I think some borderline upsetting supernatural or even realworld scares can make a game super fun and unique if it's done well.

I like horror in my games. But, I dislike a cheap PNG jumpscare that some game try to show how scary the situation are.

Horror should build up a tension and not getting jumpscared by random chance.

i haven't tested any that have a heavy focus on that yet however i did enjoy janitor of love with it's light horror elements and lessons in love but i wouldn't consider it horror even with it's special scenes

Any genre has a right to exist. Whether it's horror, fantasy, or science fiction. I don't really like this kind of setting myself, because my materialism keeps me within the framework of the everyday world, but nevertheless I welcome genre diversity. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that all games or VN games on this site or on any other site of a similar orientation, even those that are maximally tied to reality, are representatives of the urban fantasy genre.

Sin spire is insanely valid game while playing it I completely forgot it was a porn game and had genuine fun I was also insanely scared only the first floor though after that the other floors weren't scary anymore and it became very easy to speedrun late game also would've been nice had there been more content outside the tower but I'm still happy nonetheless.

Honestly if any other games like sin spire were made in immediately buying it no hesitation
