I think horror porn games are like horror movies in that it's applied very liberally to cover a wide array of different stories. If an author were to write a story that fit with the porn game medium it could be pretty good. Psychological horror in a porn game would be lovely, but a slasher/gore horror porn game sounds boring as can be. Often there are just dark or supernatural elements and it gets labeled horror and it just falls flat for me.

Best game i've ever played, that turned, no matter what path you choose, into a nightmare fuel while being in a sex scene.
I cant remember how many times i "rolled back" just to see that fkn teddy bear really did move its head....and then, the real party starts. Holy shit.
Diffinitly the "best" AVN with horror elements so far, at least what i have played.
Secrets of Whispering Pines, as an example, cant compete with that kinda random horror stuff. SWP trys to be scary.....but it isnt.
Malignant just plain made me go WTF?!

Edit: So yeah! i love horror elements in a game if its well made.

It's challenging to get the right amount of horror and porn to where the player isn't laughing at the piss-poor horror or too damn scared to maintain an erection, however, with that said I would love to see more true horror porn games, an example scene would be a guy corners a girl in her own house, proceeds to engage in a snuggle struggle (non-con coitus) with her before finishing off with limiting the supply of oxygen until expiry, I tried to keep that mild because it's in the public eye, so if it's not deemed 'safe' enough to remain please feel free to edit or delete at your discretion mods.

Don't generally care for, but it's possible to make a good one (see: Deliverance. Finished a year or so back.) Example mentioned in the OP I really wouldn't like. Furry is just plain weird.

Like all porn, and even all VNs really, it really depends on how and how well its made for me. If the story is good and makes sense, theres a good chance ill enjoy it. But that goes for any of these types of games. One of the biggest things I hate in any porn, but especially so in games like this. is instant action pretending to be a story. If theres only a hint of a story to loosely pull the porn areas of the game together. Then nah, thats not it fam. Full commit to the story and make it engaging or im likely to be bored of your game the moment the idea clicks that there really isnt one. Just a poorly done backstory to give the porn more allure. Just not my thing.
