discussion Honey Select or Daz3D?

DAZ3D is king for realistic 3D. HS2 tends towards looking like wax models.

Koikatsu though is decent for games going for an anime art style, but not wanting the commitment of doing actual 2D.

I settled on Daz for it's relatively larger community, resources and ease of use. I used to use Lightwave 3D and Poser to the migration wasn't difficult. I don't have a lot of experience with HS to be honest...

I prefer Honey Select. I don't know why it is, but in most actual games, female Honey Select models look like idealized art of seriously beautiful women, whereas Daz women look like caricatures of ugly women. The only thing that is often wrong with Honey Select renders is that people exaggerate breast sizes to an unreasonable degree. That happens with Daz as well, but importantly almost all Daz models have weirdly distorted faces as if drawn by an incompetent artist or disfigured by an incompetent plastic surgeon. Maybe victims of 'bimbofication'? (I hate this genre with a passion.)
For example, even in the otherwise outstanding game Sisterly Lust, the mother and one of the three sisters (the fake blonde) have outright ugly, almost repulsive faces. The other two sisters are kind of cute, which is rare for Daz models.
Maybe the issue is that Honey Select models typically look Japanese/Korean and Daz models look European. In real life, I have no preference either way. But Japanese and Korean women tend to look more beautiful and more alike to me. I am much more familiar with the variation between European women, and the variation of Daz models is nothing like it.

Used to like Koikatsu or w/e, but then I ruined it for myself by downloading it myself and playing around, and realizing that it was very limited to a number of scripted positions.
killed my mood for it.

How is that even a contest? They play in different leagues. HS is much easier to use, but yields very inferior graphics. DAZ requires more learning effort, but yields much better results.

I've been using Daz3D for a couple of years now... Don't have any experience with Honey... Maybe I will try it one day just to see what I can make with it... But I like what I can do with Daz3D and I like how it looks.

HS is pretty good with the animation of the women cumming, but overall DAZ is better. Koishitsu though, sucks the cum out of a dead man's dick.

Honey Select always looks weird to me, maybe i'm just used to the washed out 3d but Daz looks more natural.

it doesnt really bother me as someone who likes anime but i get the point

So I don't hate honey select, however there are times that whatever lighting it winds up with is really off-putting. Daz done terribly is an experience I would prefer to avoid, however when done well its fantastic and my overall preference
