What kind of character do you prefer to play in a fantasy game??

The one where you are a hero who saves and fuck with the damsels in distress who completely fall in love with you, or the demon king who kidnaps and abuses young adventurers in his dungeon until they become obedient slaves?

I prefer to play a seducing demoness/succubus with the hobby hero slaying, a deadly hate against abuse and slavery with the personal goal of creating a global lesbian harem.

Both can be good if the writing is okay. If I was to choose what I prefer probably demon lord. However I find those types of games to be more often terribly written. Rape and mind control can be great but they tend to be super simple in the way they do it.

Either is workable. To my mind though the hero angle does not stretch credulity as much which means more immersive gameplay

I can't say I'm heroic in life, but I do prefer to imagine heroic characters. Playing the demon lord just doesn't appeal to me much.

Hero. In every game I play "paragon", the "renegade" choices rarely appeal to me. Or on DND terms, my MC could be a LG, a NG or a CG at worse, but never evil, not even neutral.

This is pretty much my thoughts on the matter as well. Though I have played some neutral characters, they can be interesting. But still, never evil, so if given the choice between hero and villain, I will choose the hero.

Demon Lord. Was raised to play hero, tried playing hero, can confirm playing hero sucks unless you lack the self-awareness to realize you're lying to yourself. At some point you realize the bad guys aren't evil they're just honest.

I can only play a dark character if the NPCs and game story are shallow. Otherwise I am a hero.
