Can't speak for everyone, but I personally hate the combat system and how nearly all RPGM games I've ever seen all use the same preinstalled sfx

I like the "anime" art style and the RPG gameplay style.
And usually most games have a specific artist, which you can instantly identify as the artist/author.I think that's a really cool feature specific of hand draw.
Furthermore, I don't like the "realistic" look, like in DAZ and most other 3D games, so much so that my preferred 3d engine is HS2 or Koikatsu (although the vast majority of Koikatsu and HS2 games are bad).

one of the aggravating factors in the hatred of RPGM is precisely the sound effects, which the vast majority of developers don't bother to replace.
True, I remember RPGM are some of the few games that Joiplay can emulate with almost no problems or crashes.

They often designed to waste player time while not having a lot of meaningful content. Granted, blanket hate is rather dumb as there are examples of great RPGM games. Same thing with HTML games.

Hello! I too came from F95 and was a lurker as well until recently. Initially started commenting to get M+ but come to find out that there are some genuinely cool folks in the forums. I don't recall playing any RPGM games, but the small few I've seen never drew my attention to download. What's your top 5 RPGM games or any that you would recommend?

Making a top 5 list is kind of difficult, since they work differently depending on each game, but if I had to choose 5 that I like for beginners on the gente:
(They are not in order of Tierlist)
1- The Last Sovereign
You either love it or hate it. It's an old game, but its development finished relatively recently, over a decade. Being old, it has some problems that more recent RPGM games don't have in terms of gameplay. The portraits and art are generic (except for the main characters), and you might not like the art style. But the game's story is the focus, in addition to character development.
It's an RPGM that I don't play to masturbate, but purely for the story. The game has between 50 and 100 hours of gameplay, so it must be one of the longest hentai games out there.
2- Exposed Livestream
is an exhibitionist game, the art is cute, I like it a lot, for me it's one of the best in the genre.
3- TRATRITLE
If you like Older Woman with Younger Guy games, this one has one of the cutest art styles.
4- Renyuu Ancension
I personally am not a big fan, but if you like RPGs and open worlds, Renyuu Ancension is one of the best in the genre. It's a bit old, but it receives updates nowadays.
5- Prey Game
It's one of the best of the "generic" RPGMs (following the same formula), the art is cool, the clothing destruction system... if you like RPGMs, this game shows what most Japanese battle games will cover. or the content they will have, but better.
