Is this completely abandoned or just haven't been updated for a while?
This is easily one of the best games out there in term of render and relationship buildup.

The same as other updates. I would say the longest one is 11 months? No talking. Like Xenorav just gone and then all of the sudden he's gonna drop an update. Honestly just wait like the rest of us considering this guy wants 20 chapters anyways.

Personally I'm fine with the time between update.
The quality increase, new tech' are used, the pacing and relationship are good nothing is rushed .. I'm not a follower but I understand that no communication at all is a problem.
Like for the devs of the game "Death must die".

One thing I like too with Heart Problems is that the game is straight like an arrow, no routes like "Sophia Parker" where the routes are updated one by one, leading to waiting too many months and being frustrated/annoyed when the update is not what is expected.
And also the story isn't re writed every time like the game "Sibling Delight".

It would be cool if update were faster but it is what it is, I don't think it's the main job of Xenorav and maybe he need time to brainstorm and product at a pace that don't let him dislike his own game.

We don't know - this is his usual thing. He cucks people on their subscription then suddenly shows up with an update. The longest was almost a year, last time he did two updates and one was a Christmas special. I think he's either leeching off the subs, lazy or just done with the game in general.
