Various electronic gadgets. Most expensive one was a theremin. Turns out you can't use just any power supply or any amplifier with it. Or put it wherever you want. Extremely temperamental. And once all the stars are in the right position, it's as hard to learn as a violin, plus you keep getting distracted because suddenly something is wrong again and you get that horrible low frequency noise. I gave up very quickly.

I have like a dozen games in my steam deck i have less than 10 minutes of playtime in. or haven't even tried. lol. I'm a sucker for going "oh a big sale on steam. let me buy these 4 games. I'll totally play them all"

yes. I bought alot of games on steam that I've never played
Same. Not anytime recently. And ones that were shit/way too difficult that I started playing too late to get a refund. When it sucks or is too difficult, I refund. And "too difficult" IS listed as a choice for a legitimate reason.

I bought like a 50$ eye massager off of amazon and used it once, didn't like the pressure and haven't touched it since

Eye massager?

I bought a set of rollerblades, never used it again after one fall. It's still in my closet though...

Would love to ride it again T_T

i buyed a new era baseball cap online.
was way to large for my head.

Yeah mostly on league of legends and a few games that i didn’t even play

Buy a pack of interesting indie games on steam and not even launch them. It's a classic for me

A few months after I turned 21 I bought a bottle of Southern Comfort. Drank most of it and reenacted the pea soup scene from the Exorcist. Can't stand the smell to this day. Several years later either gave it to someone or poured it.

LOL thats bird dog for me. my brother brought home a couple bottles home from college when i was 14 or 15...im sure u can imagine what happened lol; never been a big whiskey drinker since

Not necessarily porn related but definitely can be, I was at least horny motivated with my purchases. But in essence have you ever went out of your way to spend money on something that you thought you would get a whole lot of use out of and then never used or used only once or the novelty instantly wore off?
The list of things I have is rather long but two ones of note were:
  • A VR headset to play porn games on (the list of good games in VR ran out rather fast I found, that and I had little room to play it)
  • An expensive drawing tablet to learn to draw smut and is still in it's original packaging.
But if I were to mention non horny related things they would also be:
  • A full 3D tracking rig (also for VR but for animation) I have plugged them in and setup the software and not used them in over a year.
  • A digital keyboard to learn piano with which is now a clothes rack.
  • A 3D printer to print and paint various things that I never actually thought about until it arrived.
Books and Movies in general.
Once they get read, they get put on a shelf and forgotton. Especially now that everything is digital, I'm sure others have boxes and boxes of movies, books, dvds, etc

Some clothes at a sale, only to realize after I would possibly never wear the only possible combination I could make with it.
Some posters I thought of putting up but could never figure out where. Just kept it rolled up in a corner.
Some mementos from holiday, only to realize it's not that great and shove it at the back of a shelve.
Some model kits I wanted to build as a teen, only to have adult life take most of my free time and energy, so I sold most of them (still kept a few, still hoping).
...
All in all I can't complain about my spending, unless it's not spending enough on things I would objectively use to make life better 🙃

That's not whiskey. I was fine with whiskey, though it's been years since I had any hard liquor. The incident with me was in 1995.

Got ADHD, with ADHD hobbies. Got loads of stuff I bought and never really used.
