Maybe. I think things are still a bit fluid around here.
One of the primary reasons really...is that they are trying to protect the site from SJW bitches who want to report this site into oblivion.
So the idea is that since you actually have to work for it, or throw money at the admins...it SHOULD theoretically weed out the SJW bitches...Only the most determined will go through all this anyway.

I guess the main issue is that I don't really know how else to get credits. Too much posting isn't allowed. Too many reactions aren't allowed. Too many comments aren't allowed. Makes me wonder how they expect anyone to get member+ without paying.

I've done very little...and generated well over 2000 coins in 24 hours...Just by hanging out in the big Lurker thread. *shrug*

How about paticipating in threads? There are a bunch of Polls and Question-Threads.
Also the lurker thread was mentioned several times , it's even semi-approved of the mods.
