I did a post on another of these thread about this.

No, this isn't fun. I'd say it's a necessary evil. While the LC coins won't stop all the haters/Trolls that cause problems, or the people that like to report stuff because they are so much better than everyone else, it will reduce the issue. Yes, some of these people will try (and succeed) in grinding to get the Coins. Will people go through the grind on 2 or more accounts, so they have a back-up for if (WHEN) they get banned? Probably not.

I can't really think of a better way to balance the access so that regular users can gain access while preventing as many of the haters as possible.

Just a thought.

Not too sure. Either the devs were trying to inhibit authorities from taking a look at the sites "questionable" content, or it's an attempt to get money to support the site.
