I've been putting it off and only doing occasional things on the expectation that the rules/goal posts are going to change again when someone decides to abuse the system again and screw it all up for the rest of us.

Totally agree. Small investment in time for hours of enjoyment.

I see the 500 as a gateway or ritual of trust that takes around a week.
Plebs that want to report the site are unlikely to spend a couple of hours interacting with people just to throw it all in the thrash by getting their asses banned.
Is it too much ? Idk. 30minutes per day and in a week you get there. Mods/Admins will probably fine tune it soonTM. Games+ don't get created and updated fast so you aint going to miss much if you wait a week

Timing is everything. I joined this site yesterday, and today they lower the requirement, which is nice since I considered joining when there was literally no requirement, lol
