discussion Games where the MC gets depressed

Looking for any VN(doesn't have to be an adult one) where the MC gets or has depression(needs to be a main plot point, last quite awhile or lead to an event), so far the only one i have found is the secret ending of "Dimension of Monster Girls".

Check out Lessons in Love. MC has some pretty brutal depression, among other things, and so does half the rest of the cast.

Lessons in Love is a koikatsu style game where the MC has depression. I would go so far as to say depression is the biggest theme in the game, along with love and trauma. I imagine a lot of people would instantly dismiss the game because of the art style but if you don't mind it the writing is actually pretty fantastic.

Light of My Life similarly deals with a widowed father and his two daughters grieving and healing together (in their own SPECIAL way . It's my all-time favorite AVN and IMO the best slow-burn incest VN out there.

There's a lot of SFW visual novels that represent depression in a lot of ways. I recommend you a Game called "What comes after". I don't know if it really fits in your description because the MC's depression is represented in a subtle way. Its a short story about what happens after you die and it kinda talks about suicide. Is not a depressing story and is definetly a nice experience that can help you if you are not feeling okay. Is a really short game (about an hour and a half, maybe less), so I recommend you to give it a try!

DropOut Saga, the mc suffers from depression and with that he has a double personality (another imaginary double that speaks to him).
The Falling Reloaded, the mc has the same problem until he gets rid but then he loses someone again who opened his heart and you decide in the game the light or dark path but the bad thing is that he abandoned it. (he has 3 imaginary friends)
