I think that if we want to be fair to everyone then everything need to have block option. About auto-block I'm not sure but standard is that gore, scat, rape are normally auto-blocked. As long as unblocking or blocking any fetish is easy I don't see a problem.

I personally hate being on a porn/hentai site that doesn't auto block scat. There is nothing worse thsn scrolling through porn and you see scat out of nowhere. I don't think it shoukd be a sign up and preference only, but it should just have it's own section.

Scat, piss, guro, vore, can be a real boner killer when you aren't or do not want to see it. Loli often times on sites will be a sign-up preference selection. Now loli is s polarized topic, loli should be 200% hentai an 0% real we can be degenerates but never should we harm real life people no matter our attraction.

So thoughts and preferences? Am I beinh sn asshole, or is it fair that such highly vulgar kinks shoukd have their own home?

Auto blocked? Not at all. However I 100% agree that you should have the option to block certain tags, for example scat, as I personally don't like content like that

is there a particular reason why you can't exclude the tags yourself and need the website to do it for you?

I block ai, real porn and censored nonsense, for example.

Auto-block a tag? Never. Allow the user to exclude tags on a search? Yes. Allow the player to skip certain scenes based on content? Yes.

Personally, I exclude big tits, big ass, and vore when searching. Everything else can stay. When playing, I skip nothing.

The exclude tag is nice, but unfortunately it sometimes hides games where the excluded fetish is a single scene in a game with a multitude of great scenes. There should be a way for users to block/skip said scene they do not want.

But here's the problem.

I've recently mentally unblocked NTR and sharing. But my life being my life, I now passionately hate dilfs. As a pushing 60 guy, I don't wanna see myself in porn, thank you very much.

Avoiding (or blocking) tags isn't that useful for me.
If the game is called "General Fuckfest #12." and it has the dilf (or any tag you hate), what does that tell you? That there's at least ONE scene with a dilf.
It could be 1 out of 25 scenes. Or it could be 25 out of 25 scenes. I'll skip the one scene, sure. But if that's the whole game, that download was a waste of time.

You don't know how many dilfs you get in the above game. Now, if it's called "Slut fucks geezers till she dies of AIDS." well THEN, if you DL, the problem isn't the devs or the game.
Personally, I do a CTL-Skip run on those online websites (no link as per board rules) that host ren'py porn games. Try before you buy, type deal. Not all games make it there, though.
But blocking dilfs (or whatever tag you hate)? Could help, I guess, but I personally don't see how. I'd love to be wrong, though.

EDIT = The downside of blocking ANY game with the tag? You might miss a great game that all you have to do is CTL-Skip that ONE scene.
It's up to you if that's worth the risk or not. (added because quite a few posters already mentioned this)

Everyone's preferences are different to be sure. I would love to see a list of tags that you could toggle. Not only to reject content that I don't want to see, but to tailor what is there to my specific kinks.
