Most of the time I just push enter and see what I get ... When that doesn't work (or gives you something stupid) I try to match the game... Like for mob ones I use Franky... Space ones I'll probably just use Jim (Kirk) or something

I use Joe Daddy lol very original I know but works for me. Plus I get a chuckle anytime anyone calls me Mr Daddy. I know I'm juvenile, but at least I own it!

I used to use Kenny almost exclusively (not my actual name, if you thought about it), but lately I've been using defaults, because it's pretty stupid when in a game with a Japanese/fantasy setting with appropriate names, there's some dumbass running around as Kenny.
If the author is too lazy to provide defaults, then I use Larry Cable, because Larry the cable guy

What is your favorite name to use for the MC in an AVN if you can decide one yourself?

For me, it's Max if it's a male character. No real reason other than it's short and easy to remember. If the MC already put a name in if you leave it empty, I go for that name.
With women though, I can't remember playing any where you can choose the name and she doesn't have a standard name, other than the last 2 from Mr. Dots. I don't really have a favorite name for female characters yet.
