I like the kind that is traditional in my region: without a hole (not ring-shaped); filled with some kind of jam, and a little bit of powdered sugar sprinkled on top (although I could do without that). For this kind of thing I'm a purist. I cannot think of any way to change it that wouldn't make it significantly worse.

I don't know about favourite but the pink icing, strawberry jam filled ones you can get from Greggs over here are my absolute guilty pleasure. They're cheap and not at all healthy but they're usually so packed with filling I just can't resist.
