Donuts are NOT a treat. They are a staple food that should be savored for Breakfast (and second breakfast). They can also be enjoyed as a desert with other meals.

The only time I went to a Tim Horton's I got a box of mixed donut holes. One of them was covered with fruity pebbles. Sweetest damn thing I've ever tasted. I don't know if they make the donuts like that, but it sounds like what you described.

Gotta be a vanilla cake donut with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles. Another classic is a cinnamon sugar donut. Bars and twists of any flavor go crazy. Donut holes are really good too. Donuts are amazing, and I'd say cake donuts > yeast donuts, but it's all because of the texture for me.
