What's everyone's favorite game in the last 5 years for me I would choose clair obscure expedition 33 this game was amazing start to finish its story was just so good and made me tear up in the end. I'm curious what games you all enjoyed in the last 5 years.

Honorable mentions for me would be dragons dogma 2 and insomniac's Spider-Man.

Probably Baldur's Gate 3, it gets a boost for the amount of content. Honorable mention to Dispatch.

But to be honest the last 5 years I think I've spent the majority of my gaming time playing older games.

Zenless Zone Zero has been my personal favorite for awhile. Also monster hunter and genshin. And recently nte. Hoping to hear more about Anata soon

Honestly not much. Companies are just sticking to the tried and true, not many risky games come out. Elden Ring is solid for a lot of reasons but combining a souls like with open world isn't overly revolutionary.

I love zzz easily my favorite of the hoyo games been playing it since the beta and I'm super hopeful for anata whenever that decides to release.

Expedition 33, BG3 and Elden Ring (was 2022 so if the glove fits) are likely the answers with the most validity behind them.

BUT.

Have you heard of lord and savior Wandering Sword? Once you get past a clunky UI, it's an absolutely divine wuxia themed RPG with a lot of branching, mechanical depth and great characters.

Will also give an honorable mentions to Crystal Project, Lorelei and Laser eyes and Blue Prince.

Maybe Deltarune, technically came out longer ago but it's so fun to come up with theories and all that
Deltarune is very interesting I haven't really gotten into it but it's made by tobey fox and I loved Undertale and all the theories that came with it so I really should check it out.

The last caretaker, dispatch or helldivers 2 (fun with friends)
I've seen a bit of last caretaker from I think letsgameitout love that channel. It seems interesting but I'm not a fan of the like boat survival games well honestly survival games in general I'm not super into.

Dispatch was such a great telltales like game loved everyone's acting in it and releasing it as a weekly things was so fun when everyone was waiting for the next episode. Can't forget my boy Sonar loved that guy.

Helldivers 2 is super fun played it day 1 with my brother since we both played the first helldivers. Really fun game when you get into character fighting the good fight.
