Nah, it's a specific game
You can supposedly decide how the story unfolds, but in the end, the whole family plays on their own, and the points system is quite unclear, and even with the guide, it's not entirely clear what the results of your choices will be.

Very confusing game with all the paths and points that alter your play-through.
