This game is very much pro-sharing and against "closed minded" jealousy.
Basically, most characters in the game are romanceable for the MC, but most of the love interests will also continue to pursue other men (and women and even animals) besides the MC.
Sometimes, the MC can try to prevent that from happening, but it will usually cost quite a lot of points with that character, and even then, the outcome is uncertain.
I think that is what @megamats means.
However, you can also choose to take it less seriously. In my opinion, the political leaning of the developer is not as much in your face as it is in some other games, and the scenes and scenario's in this game are pretty hot.

Game is hot and has a lot of "degenerate" fetishes. People who are complaining about it are just wokies. Just like your typical twitter wokie "lefty" ( they are not real lefties, trust me, i have a relevant diploma ) screaming at lolis, incest and pixel women rights, wokie rightists/conservs are constantly screaming about any hint of "sharing" "their" pixel waifus. In the end both are overtly concerned about fate of some pixels... which makes all of this in to yet another "horseshoe theory", aka when two extremely dumb kinds of people starting to resemble eachother even if they on paper represent different ideas.

Does the fucking ever feel taboo? Main reason I dropped this was everything being very "sure, go for it" which lost a lot of the spice for me.
