Pretty sure it's just paturd being paturd. Thier subscribestar and itchio are still active and in the itchio comments one commenter stated that paturd is cracking down on incest again and the name does put a neon sign on their game.

A few months ago the dev wrote this on patreon:
"Important news: I have changed jobs in the last two weeks, and the new job no longer allows me to continue developing.
So Chapter 3 will be the last update of Family Again.
I thought about not updating chapter 3, but a promise is a promise, and I hope I can keep my promise in the end.
Finally, thank you all for your support and for staying with me until the end.
Note: All subscription pages will be closed at the end of November, so please unsubscribe after downloading.

Their Subscribestar has no posts, no way to subscribe, and they haven't made a comment on itch.io since October. It's dead, for all intents and purposes. Not saying the dev won't ever come back and resume work on it, but don't count on it.
