  • Donation Rewards & Vault Credit System Update
A new important update has been posted covering the Donation Rewards bug, the reset of incorrect Donation and Platinum credits, the upcoming reclaim system for previous tracked donations, and the new Vault freeze/maintenance behavior. The goal is to remove bug-generated credits, protect real donation history, and rebuild the system in a cleaner and safer way going forward. - Jack Of Blades

Anyone else having issues excluding prefixes like VN or engines like RPGM and RenPy? No matter what I exclude there are still plenty of examples coming up.

For example, this link filters out every single prefix for the engines yet games still show up.

Perhaps a bug?

I use Firefox on Windows 10 and have tried clearing my cache and performing a cache refresh (CTRL+F5). Any other ideas?

It looks like a programming error to me, or inconsistent data in the database. The exclusions have an effect, but they don't exclude enough. Maybe the comparison used for the exclusion is case sensitive and the case used in the prefixes is inconsistent. Or it could have to do with spaces between prefixes.

In any case, positive filtering for prefixes does not seem to have this problem.

Yea, positive filtering seems to work, but only if you want to filter by one engine. For instance if you want Unity or Unreal Engine games, putting both in the positive filter will filter only games that have the Unity AND Unreal Engine prefix, which there are none.

It becomes tough because if you want Visual Novels only for a particular engine this works great, but if you want to filter to see more than one engine, it doesn't seem possible at this stage.

Hopefully the exclude can be fixed up. I simply want to remove RenPy games and RPGM/WolfRPG games occasionally as I sometimes don't feel like playing those types of games :p

It doesn't look as if this bug report has received the required attention yet. I think we are supposed to report bugs via Discord, but I never use Discord myself (way too complicated and impractical; simply the wrong tool for this kind of thing).

Such a travesty. I just want to see things that aren't DAZ and the sorts, hope this gets fixed at some point in time.

edit- looks like excluding prefixes for engine does work (at least for me). I've an entirely different issue. Would be nice to have exclude prefix for rendering.
