Ever play a game that was outside your usual genre that surprised you how much it turned you on?

I used to hate the concept of a turn-based game. Bought Baldur's Gate 3 with my friends thinking it's gonna be a friendslop, but it really hit me, and hit hard, that is highly enjoyable (the first times at least).

Most of my friends are into games that I'm not so fond into but every time they recommend me something I fall for it(other eg: Dark Souls, Bigfoot, Ark, Helldivers)

I kind of feel bad recommending them my likings, as they seem boring(eg: Don't Starve, Sven-Coop, Payday, Mordhau, Terraria especially as someone actually fell asleep while we played )

i think for me it was tactics, games so FF tactics and LOTR tactics, also femdom , particulary Darktoz.

Have you ever stayed soft while playing chess?
Yeah, some of the themes on lichess made me soft instantly. Some of their knight pieces really lacked the sexy sculpting that we're all used to.

I guess turn based warfare isn't everybodys kink, to each their own.

Too kinky for me. Not into that "turn bondage" stuff. Horse races and blackjack through, those two almost make me cum at the thought of them

I know a guy that unironically plays grand strategy like Europa Universales 5 for fun somehow

honestly
dead island was a surprise for me
didn't know i like that kind of thing

Don't feel bad my man. Mordhau is so much fun if you accept the game at it's own terms. And I put more than 100 hours in Terraria, it gets great longevity with all the mods out there.

To me it was text based games.

While not purely text based, Degrees of Lewdity did open up that world for me. I even set a longer term goal to get every feat, which surprised me since I'm not that much of an achievement hunter either.

Eiyuu*Senki: The World Conquest.

The porn part was minimal, but the ff tactics gameplay was surprisingly enjoyable.

More on topic though, I recently tried the game "Futa Fucks Femboys", I've never been a fan of either of those. But I did like the art in that game, fun story too!

Is there an upload for that here on Lewd Corner?

Very similar to may situation. Never played text based games untill Course of Temptation.
I loved that game and made me see this kinds of games in a new light.

Same, for me it was HentHighscool (I think it was called) that got me on to textbased games, and later Corruption of Champions
