Decent game with the chosen themes but I enjoyed his other unfinished game more.
It was a darker fantasy and inspired by the Witcher setting.
To bad it was abandoned or dropped though.

I passed book 3 now and I am still unsure, if I like it. I will explain why.
First the positive, the renders are great without doubt. Lewd scenes are rare and short and it takes a while until you see the first. But that is fine for me, so no negative point after I prefer to have lewd scenes making a story stronger over a story made to lead to the next lewd scene only.
It is the story itself that makes me struggle to decide if I like the game or not. One of the reasons is, the MC very often thinks to himself. That would be ok, but he is not even sharing his knowledge when he is thinking. And I don´t mean information he doesn´t know himself. Because of this it is not possible to ever leave the position of an observer. Even making you feel like just being a peeping tom in lewd scenes. He knows a lot about his past, but not even shares it in his thoughts and he not even really shares his feelings about the other characters.
The second weakness of story telling are the secrets. In a strong story you discover a few secrets. On the road you solve secrets but find new often more important ones and in the end everything falls in place. Her you get secret after secret after secret and never any answer.
The third point about the story is, while you have a lot renders and sentence that do nothing for the story often, many important events are shortened heavily. Like no render at all and just a text like, the MC solved the problem.
And another point, which is combined with the first one, often you get the question why do we see this at all? Scenes that does not fit into the story. Even character that get introduced and never come back. A main side character at the beginning, even a side kick, that suddenly is rare to see and completely changed in optic and behavior without any explanation. There is not even a reason given, why she stay´s with the MC.
So after all the idea of the story is nice. But it does not take the reader onto a journey. And that is a pity, because the potential really is there.

not abandoned, but finished I think, it's 1.0. Dev probaly simply deleted his SS and Itch pages so people woud have to go to Steam to get it (more profit) unless they pirate it.

Which is even worse, that just tells me he's just a greedy bastard mostly in it for the money. At least finish what you start, profit or no profit. I don't use Steam for porn anyway (and no AVN dev will ever get wishlisted by me on there either, no lolis = no interest these days) but even if I did I wouldn't buy them from devs with abandoned projects on their record no more than a bank would loan money to someone with less than a 600 credit score. I'd just pirate it and give the money to some other dev that actually finishes what they start and those are probably going to be loli + incest devs, all other AVN genres are free and plentiful everywhere already so makes no sense to me to fund development of more of them, there's over 1700+ vanilla Daz/HS AVNs in my collection I will probably never even play already.

Can't understand how I missed this first time around

I wanted to like this, really, but gave up about 2-3 updates ago. Too aggravating to read:
- Lots of inner monologue (hardly unique to this game though, not sure why dev's think this is needed. This isnt as bad as the likes of Mr Dots games at least).
- Key scenes fade to black when MC finds out plot info (like his own motives for the game) but dev wants to 'mystify', and characters still try to reference this stuff but through vague, generalised statements or 'you can guess why, youre a smart cookie' type of comments to each other.
- Dev language is ESL I think, which isn't an issue in itself as it's readable and I've seen far worse. However, combined with the dev trying to make characters sound wise (or talk subtext because of the above point) and it often just results in large blocks of verbose rambling.
- Introduced seemingly pointless almost-sandbox thing
- Few and unimpactful choices, its mostly a kinetic really.
edit: The dev notes are a good example of how this is written:
"For additional tags / content that is not listed, you can always ask and will be replied will such things be in the game or not. One thing that I will say as I always do with absolute certainty, no NTR."
Can you understand it, sure. It is awful to read, yes. Is it the most verbose way to write, yes. It's worse when there are entire speeches and conversations of this.

Nice it finally got an update and I love the lore/setting of this game.
