IMO, Cats are easier to handle. Just feed them and clean there litter boxes and hopefully they come hang out, but dogs are better at being companions when you need them.

Honestly, I personally like both though if I'd truly have to pick just one I feel like it would come down to the situation I was in at the time. My reasoning for that is they both have the same but different requirements to take care of. So if I truly had the time and money I'd have both though I've had more dogs then cats. The only cats I've ever really taken care of are strays from my neighborhood so I have more experience with Dogs then Cats.

Both are good, even if i'm more of a cat person

They have quite the range of personalities, i got some that straight up ignored me until it is time for food, and some others that were literally my shadow and wanted love all the time

dogs can be your friend in a way that a cat cannot, i mean you can physically play around and toy fight a medium size dog. Hvaing said that, i'm alergic to dogs and didnt find out until i left home (and the family dog) so I can only be freinds with other peoples dogs now

I like both. I like active dogs that you can play with but I also like chill cats that take care of themselves.

I'll pet a dog but I wouldn't own one myself. I've got a cat and she's pretty easy maintenance.

IMO dogs are better companians, they are usually loyal while cats are often very selfish and egocentric.

Cats, just in my experience they tend to be a little more chill, sure they might decide to re-arrange your desk, but at least they won't got full berserk if the doorbell goes

I saw so many cat clips, where they have the most nice things for their cat, like a large tree with holes where the cat can sleep, and leaves where he can walk over and go up....

And those modern litter-box, that fully automatically cleanup...

Definitely would buy a few cats with it...
