There's a difference between "big enough to show positions and perform certain acts" and "third leg".

It takes a certain amount of length to perform acts like tit fucking, but when a regular joke in the media is "it's larger than my forearm" it can be a bit much.

I couldn't agree more, I can basically tell just by looking at the art/style now. That and all the women have DDD's, those games aren't for me either, but they only account for like 50% of the games out there, normal one's still exist in every genre. I dont mind making things slighty bigger but when it becomes ridiculous in a "serious" game then I'd say no to it, but in comical games with the rifght graphic style it can be entertaining because of the silliness.

I think that's part of the allure. Like many oversized body proportions the fact that it diverges from reality draws attention, plus dick size is often a symbol of virility so for games tied to sex it is a way to portray that character as someone above the rest, plus acting as a power fantasy if they are the main character. Bigger insertion are part of other extreme acts people seek porn for, so for works that sell as more vanilla, more average proportions works better unless the author expect to handle them with more nuance

Yes, size does matter. If one is large, and claims as such in dating sites, well.... the amount of messages you'll get will be... quite minimal, as people will assume you, ahem, inflate the truth. Of course, write that your average size, and people find out that you are actually larger, for some people, you just wasted their time, "I can't handle that size, I'm sorry... I just can't."
