I understand your points and agree that she probably meant the A for adults only, but thats not what she said so it made her statement false. And you cant argue that the majority of women don't get upset over being "objectified" (at least the majority of loud annoying women that we get to hear about), and the one scene scene from the last of us "guys" were upset about because it was basically a dude with a clit and a female head, I mean she had muscle mass that is almost unachievable for male body builders let alone female ones. If you're going to add a sex scene to your game at least make it a sexy one imo (sexy depending on your core base which for them is 12-25 year old males who didn't want to see that). I don't think you're sensitive otherwise i would doubt you would even be here, my last line was basically made because in my life experience its mainly been the women who have been the buzz kills on all the good and fun shit.

But yeah, Triple A games aren't run by women, I hate to burst your bubble, but by corporations who have absolutely no soul. They're trying to sell to the maximum amount of people, which includes women, and having these very outdated objectified women just doesn't sell as good. The culture isn't feeling that anymore. Having these explicit sex scenes will take a tank with the ratings of games, and that's the ONLY thing they care about. This for profit approach isn't ALWAYS bad... Such as creating more female main characters that I can relate to more closely... but it is still the ONLY thing that drives what is and isn't in a game. Not the woman boogeyman.

Women are people too, same as men, and we also get horny. The problem is that usually if you just shove a sex scene in a AAA video game, it's clearly only there to bump up sales with men while objectifying women. If there is a fully realized sex scene with a woman enjoying herself, it actually receives a substantially larger backlash from men. (See Last of Us Pt 2 Sex scene)

The problem is that video game rating companies will rate games much more intensely if there's any sex. Our friend Marlog here was confusing "Mature" rated games, with an "Adult's Only" rating, which usually is only saved for video games with explicit sex scenes, such as GTA SA in the case of the Hot Coffee incident. This absolutely has an effect on video game sales, and is almost exclusively given out to games with sex scenes.

Obviously I'll just be called a dumb sensitive women for having a point... but like... please :/

I bet if I say the words toxic masculinity this thread will go bonkers. Books have different genres and themes, movies have different genres and themes, and games have different genres and themes. I don't like all books, I don't like all games, I don't like all movies. There is plenty of content out there. Not connecting with the protagonist because they don't look or act like you? You have 2 options. Don't play or play as a character that doesn't resemble you. This women are sensitive stuff is just dumb.

I doubt they would add it if ever AAA companies always try to get the largest market possible I doubt making their game rated 18+ wouldn't give them the incentive to add it even gta only has somewhat a vague sex scene with prostitutes in modern games aside from the Hot Coffee mini game

Knowing it's real give some extra's, or making it look real gives some extra sensation to the movies.

BUT I would ABSOLUTELY love to see a porn game with an actual budget behind it, I want to se what a porn game can look like with a million dollar budget!

Sex scenes outside of porn are usually boring. If the sex itself is relevant to the plot for some reason then sure, but otherwise just fade to black and move on.

I wouldn't mind it but I can't possibly imagine them adding something like that. The more pressing issue is that I think games should have a lot more sexy and attractive characters - I think that is much more realistic.
