Only if it's a short game that doesn't get too much into a character and let's you do stuff from the man point of view anyway.

Anyone ever notice that a female protag love story in like non existent? Every one of the female protags I can thnk of a whores not at all involved in love stories usually in fact their life is falling apart and their cheating on their husbands.

I wouldn't be opposed to it, but I also haven't played any where the protagonist is a female either. As long as the story is good I wouldn't care.

For 95% not. If it´s a pure female MC game I skip it usual. If it is like a male MC game, where you see or play some parts of the sight of one of the females it is ok, if it don´t take large bits of the game.

hiya, well, I am female and yes, I do prefer female but it is because my games are youthful looks, but male can be good as long the story and game is properly done

Yes, AWAM was the first game I played really, and I still prefer that POV. I find the inner thoughts of the characters to be the hottest part of the game, especially when they admit to themselves what they like prior to acting on anything.

Yes. I've never self inserted in any game, so I don't care about the gender of the protagonists.
I do like multiple men in woman, and those are more common with female MCs, so that's a point to them.

I never play femprotagonist games. I can't choose for a woman because women have opposite goals from guys. And I can't associate myself with a girl. I feel like men just use me if I become a slut. If I was a girl in real life, I would be very traditional and conservative

I don't know about ren'py games, but, some Otome are fantastic. Hakuoki and Sweet Fuse for example are masterpieces.
