Do You Like Sandbox Elements in Visual Novels?

Yes, I love the ability to decide who I sleep with and when, it adds more each scene than if I played them from a gallery or they played in story order.

i like it when it let's me focus on one person or story line that i actually like

Id rather a sandbox kill my time than a bunch of dialogue im just skipping past because i have no interest. And you need one or the game is too short

it depends. sometimes the GRIND can be hellish but if it is more like summertime saga i could tolerate it

I prefer them, if the sandbox has a point to it.

I actually dislike purely linear VNs because far too many devs are terrible writers but passable at games.

On my opinion sandbox elements make visual novels feel more interactive and fun, and they give us more freedom to play the story their own way.

Generally yep, they're nice and make the game feel more like an interactive world, which in turn make the LIs feel more meaningful. Still, if you're in the VN primarily for quick results, I can understand why people would feel annoyed at their inclusion.

I like them. Aurelia set the tone for AVNs to me and so it always feels like something's missing when it's straight kinetic or choice-based linearity.

i enjoy the freedom that comes with sandbox elements because it enables you to become immersed by kinda experiencing the story in your own way therefore making the sexy parts better

Depends, a lot of the times the progression path ends up just confusing with a sandbox style game.
