I do check them because if they are abandoned some have really good art/story and skmetkmes the dev suddenly decides to continue or finish it.

if the render is good enough but i am not gonna invest in the story much, and i read too many axed manga/manhwa so the fact that it didn't have ending or finished doesn't bother me much XD

For me it depends on how much content it had before it got abandoned. If I play a game I want it to have a good supply of content otherwise I feel like I wasted my time. The story itself is also pretty important but in my opinion its second to how much content it possesses.

I try to avoid them. I really hate leaving a good game in half without ever being complete.

I do like them, some of them tend to be better than new and indevelopment i also see problems though its obvious

I will play an abandoned game if it looks interesting enough, but it's always a little sad when you play one that had a lot of potential that will never be realized.
