Divinity is an erotic Adult Visual Novel with horror themes set in a fantasy, late medieval setting. The Player Character is a divine being (if you believe the lies she told you) who was sent to protect his Sister (which is also another lie) as she opens a portal between their world and the land inhabited by these… animals.​

The structure of the game (i.e. the throne room/“hub” and “books”) is designed to allow me to add erotic scenes at basically any part of the story, including the one that the player has already seen, without forcing the player to replay the entire game from the beginning.

TLDR : This was made so I can make fantasy themed erotic scenes with some background story.

• Notes on Terms and Languages
  Common familial terms, if capitalized (e.g., “Sister”, instead of “sister), denotes a rank/position instead of familial relationship. This partly mirrors their usage in religious orders.
  
  This story will NEVER contain any sexual relationship between blood related characters.
  
  
• I'm more of a coder...
  And unfortunately, I am not a native speaker. This project really begins with the idea of “can I make a more appealing UI for a VN?”. That and I wanted to see more ero scenes involving fantasy settings (goblins, female knights, etc).
  
  Unfortunately, I don’t have any formal training in art, and neither the real talent for it. I think I have improved a lot since my first drafts, but hard work will never be able to cover for talent
  
  I will never use AI “art” to “improve” the renders, but due to the limitation of my language skill, I do use grammar tools to find ideas on how to describe a scene more vividly.
  
  As you can guess, I don’t have any background in literature either. But I did try to at least make it less of a “short, uninteresting sentences” like in a movie script and instead tried to make it more of a 1920’s horror stories (without, I hope, the excessive “undescribable”, “beyond description” of Lovecraftian novels )

Spoiler: The throne room

Shortly after the prologue, the player will arrive at the Throne room. This is basically the hub/gallery of the game where the player can :

• access new scenes
• replay previously seen scenes.
• interact with the other characters and access their hub specific scenes

Almost every part of these hubs is animated.

Thanks for the share. I tried it a bit, haven´t gotten far yet but it looks interesting. However, two things already annoy me: the constant zoom in/out or change in FOV makes me a dizzy, and afaik there is no way to skip transitions or increase text speed (for the slow narrating text).
