Definately.

That said I'm probably sitting a few discords on my NSFW discord account that I don't really need to be. Games that are 'risky' that I don't actually follow but just picked up the link for at some point.

About 10 days ago my discord profile got a yellow card because a discord server violated community guidelines and the violation will have effect for 2 years (i'm not the only one in this situation).

I asked to discord team to review my punishment, explaining i didn't write anything on the server, i didn't download anything, i didn't upload anything and i also didn't pay using the bot (all this is the truth).

Today they answered me:
We confirmed that your content violated our rules. Following your request, we reviewed your content and confirmed that it violates our Community Guidelines. The violation will continue to effect your account until it expires.

My content?

I'm in the same boat you are they fucked me over too, same reasons.

Revolt already replaced discord

I know LiriusArt has moved to Revolt, I'm not sure how many more will though. It is missing a lot of functions Dev's need. Revolt is still in development though, so more Dev's may move over in the future.

Here's some of the reasons Dev's won't swap to Revolt for now.

Unless they have changed the terms and conditions very recently, shotas and lolis are allowed. It is clearly said that the content must be in accordance to local laws. And so, if shotas and lolis are legal in your country, then it is legal.

I always figured you could get in trouble for being in servers like this (I never joined one, not that I really use Discord these days but still). But it is weird that when they nuke the server everyone in it (atleast that's what I'm getting) is getting punished for it. That makes it seem that if I had ill intentions towards another creator / server that I could come in with some friends (or alone, maybe bots) and start posting shit > self report > server gets nuked and everyone in it gets owned. Seems like a very easy way to erase servers you don't like (I was aware this happened a few times where servers got hijacked by morons spewing whatever really and that it always results in it getting nuked however like I just mentioned, I wasn't aware that everyone actually got a "warning/punishment"). What an awful system, but I guess that's what you get in this day and age. No real person will answer your support email/ticket, no real person is going to read your support email/ticket and "ai" is going to shadowban and erase a fuck ton of users for no reason. But people keep using it so I guess that's their gotcha, can't wait for our version of the great videogame crash but then in the form of the internet just dying because it's unusable and dogshit. I wouldn't mind another videogame crash either but that's another discussion I suppose, which I'm sure is already in full effect given the fact they keep rereleasing the same old shit over and over and over and over and over.

God I fucking hate the internet these days.

They just gave updated TOS which are very anti-anything in Games+. I thought it was bad when Fascistbook if they removed a group they banned all the admins. Discord is even worse that they hit anyone in a group at all.

I'm team minimal login. I can recommend keeping a browser discord you use that stays logged in and keeping the app as the main discord. What browser is up to you...
