A question: I stopped playing this game years ago, when the Dev said he would rework the entire computer system, and in consequence, some earlier content.
Like I said, it was years ago, so I don't really remember specifics (maybe it wasn't even that, just some other rework) but I remember deciding to wait all of that to start the game over with all of it done. Is this thing (the rework, not the game itself) finished?

I like the general story, I love some characters and I find their designs beautiful (the three sisters) and the other characters don't interest me at all. I understand that it is a problem of my tastes, but basically I want to play it but I have to let a couple of updates pass so that content that interests me can accumulate. But beyond that, and despite having almost no animations, it is still a great game

Understandable, everyone has their own preferences. So far the game is nearly complete, with the upcoming updates tying up the final stage of the story.

So, I start the game up and it looks fine. Then, it's my kryptonite, my nemesis, my most hated enemy: PAUSE the game to do an unskippable side thing.

DEV = We're stopping the flow and you have to open your phone / computer / psychic link (or whatever the fuck depending on the genre, here it's the computer and the phone.)
ME = I go to the computer and click off.
DEV = No no. Player. You're my bitch. You can't progress unless you click power. (fine) Then click WWW. (fine) Then click BetOne (fine) Then deposit 50 bucks. (fine) NOW you get a choice to pick a team.
ME = Couldn't you just have written a bit of text and let me choose like a normal game?
DEV = No.
ME= Why not?
DEV = Because you're my bitch.

Fuck you... but fine. Let's go back to the game.

2 minutes later... Phone pops up. Round 2 of this shit.
ME = Why couldn't you have just made this a normal described phone call instead of making me do pointless clicks?
DEV = Because you're my bitch.

Yes, it's a "me" thing, and plenty of games do the "interrupt the flow, now you're on your phone / computer" thing... but FUCKING WHY?
