you call this "arguing in good faith"? Sure, whatever helps you sleep at night.
At least i don't have to chew on "big wall of texts" in small chunks to help my reading comprehension. No wonder higher concepts go right above your head, probably why you have to stick to speaker labels when you gauge character writing(what you said about Zombie Retreat), and you measure plot points in "in which hole did peepee went into" hallmarks(what you said about DMS being carbon copy of Redburns), instead of , you know, actual plot and world-building . Like irregular zombies in DMS, and virus evolution direction(shown in their close encounter with the last one). Or their interaction with other communities(which we see only glimpses of) .
See, now that was some vitriol and personal insults of your intelligence(though not entirely overt, I still refrained from the name-calling). Don't know where you saw that in my 2nd post, but it probably had to with what I said above about walls of texts. Easier to argue with a strawman that you start to imagine while you are chewing your little sentence bites.
- nah, im reading for all my life. Its not that hard, really. At least for a people who dont mistake porn, pulp and cheap belletristics for some fancy high art.
I never said anything about high art, you just assumed I'm some romantic literature lover for simple reason of liking writing in DMS and hating it in DMD. I actually hate those flowery allegories style of writing in belletristics(or what I call women's romantic literature). What I do like is when instead of porn video levels of lot we actually get a story in our 18+ media, where adult themes(including sex) play significant plot points or at least
So let me give you some examples from popular franchises of what I mean when I say "adult themes in writing" - incest between siblings in Song of Ice and Fire(Game of Thrones), the unfortunate witness of which t starts the entire vendetta business between Starks and Lanisters. Not to mention adultery, that stuff is basically everywhere and simple to use in character motivation.
How about sterility of sorceresses (and witchers) in Witcher, and how it affects their levels of promiscuity and general approach to long-lasting relationships(especially compared to your average peasant in the same universe)?
Not enough? How about something close to the subject - Fate: Stay Night universe, where you have an option to boost your servant through sex(not to mention the entire Matou clan thing), but have to decide whether you should engage in the practice? To wrestle your morals and relationship with a summon versus higher chances of your survival or victory in the Grail War?
I could also say "Lolita" by Nabokov, but I'm not in the habit of lying to appear better, even over the internet. Never actually read the book, only some excerpts, so I'm not sure how good the writing actually is. But judging by how it coined the entire term for a younger girls in Japan's art, they liked the source.
Ah, who am I kidding, I'm just gonna get some passive-aggressive bullshit straight from the "trolling for dummies" handbook instead of actual arguments in response. Feel free to leave the last word in, I'm done wasting time here.
