I decided to start my game over I have had forever, lost right off the bat and wholy shit lol. If you have not played or experienced I will not spoil anything, but be prepared.

I challenge anyone to find any game over screens with more shock value

I think it is more the unexpectedness of it, you're right with the gore, but I think its more shocking that it is just so off theme for the game

I have not played Lost Life, but my craziest ending was the bad endng of Dreams of Desire. It was one of my first games and I was just flabbergasted by where the MC and family ended up. It, honestly, pissed me off and was awhile before I went back to play through again to get the good ending.

Some of the endings in Bernd and the Mystery of Unteralterbach are a bit bizarre. Not gore or crazy, just laughably unexpected.
